“If I should have a daughter, instead of Mom, she’s gonna call me Point B.” So begins the poet, Sarah Kay, in a TED Talk that not once but twice brought the audience to its feet.

” … the first time she realizes that Wonder Woman isn’t coming, I’ll make sure she knows that she doesn’t have to wear the cape all by herself, ’cause no matter how wide you stretch your fingers, your hands will always be too small to catch all the pain you want to heal…”

The force with which Kay speaks and the passion which she invokes will make you, too, want to get up and offer all that you have. Her work is touching and inspirational.

We couldn’t recommend this invigorating TED Talk any more highly.
