There is no extra VAT to pay but there will be a distance fee to pay if outside London usually no more than £60.

Course suitable if work in residential care homes, hospitals, schools and other establishment where nutrition is important and a good nutritional understanding is often requirement for those preparing food. Training also provided to restaurant chains and catering outlets.

CIEH level 2 award Healthier Food and Special Diets is a sought after accredited qualification in the catering sector. Due to the demanding needs not only to produce food that looks and tastes great, but provide food that is nutritionally balanced for everyone.

If you are asked to produce puree diets, low sodium diets, lower fat meals, vegan and vegetarian meals, and food for people with specific dietary needs then think about doing this certificate and enhance your knowledge and understanding of nutrition.
