Very much enjoyed the course - a very good mix of theory and practice that can be applied to many areas. SDL are experts in L&D - they are positive & encouraging while always seeking to negotiate and utilise holistic assessment methods that allow you to perform naturally. I had some RPL and this was addressed in my IAG/induction etc. so when I started I had a clear route to follow & was continuously supported with feedback to all work submitted. Will recommend them always - they provide insight & understanding, are courteous & professional and are actually enjoyable to work with.

The level is exactly right and the units available allow you to decide on a suitable route. Excellent discussion & planning and then assessment planning was the key to being successful and also the regular meetings and the contact options.
Knowledge was addressed by various methods that always seemed appropriate & using the holistic approach is really a winner!
Length of course is just about right as there is no rush but it is incredible how quickly it comes together under this method and I was impressed. QCF is completely understood and can transfer the knowledge gained.
Responsiveness and sheer customer service is consistently delivered. Pricings are highly competitive and worth every penny - in fact should be more looking at the competition. The feeling of confidence, motivation and empowerment to be able to succeed and quickly is rather special and I have remembered many things in undertaking this activity via reflection & discussion and also have learnt and want to develop more - mentoring received is fantasic! We use SDL for all our staff training as they provide an independent and professional service that is very cost effective. This new qualification has been provided under the new QCF standards and is very much focused on work based learning and we are using this more and more as it is more suitable than PTLLs or similar. SDL understand and also can deliver to individuals &/or groups and can work with novice or experienced staff and offer a professional service. Their dedication & knowledege is inspiring and all staff report good things about the team always.

Staff at SDL are very pleasant and also flexible in working around you and timings. The assessor travelled to me when promoting services & giving advice at a county careers day . Credible and quality provision.

My Assessor, was great and gave me support throughout all the qualification. Very helpful and honoured all appointments and gave me feedback on all work I submitted, a very different experience to other colleagues with other providers! We will use again certainly as professional & knowledgeable! All units were structured and planned and I felt in control at all times and confident of success.

Qualification was carried out in work and also in my own time by producing evidence - found this a highly suitable way to show my performance in duties and achieve accreditation. My assessor was great and also a good motivator as well as being consistent in meeting me and planning/giving feedback. Excellent support was given and this made me feel instantly more confident in my own and their capabilities. The best route if you cannot find, let alone commit, to College or other attendance in the area and their independence is also reassuring as you do not feel like a 'target'. Fully supported by my work too - found that I could fit this qualification in as well as function at work and home. Many thanks.
