I found this course very useful and definately worth the money. Having little experience with fibre meant that at first I was a little bit overwhelmed but due to the excellent trainers and "hands on" practical facilities my confidence grew though out the week. This course has been envaluable to my future as I am now employed within the telecommunications industry

I would recommend this course as it provides the neccessary theroy and practical skills to start a new carrer or enhance the understanding of someone with previous experience. I found the course material more than adequate and it provided me with plenty of information to keep me up to date after completing the course. Being a " 5 day fast track" meant I spent a mininmal amount of time away from work and it reduced my overal accomidation costs.
Yes I would recommend this course. A good balance of theory and practical taught by professionals with industry experience, not just a bunch of boffins. The training facilities were excellent with a large practical area with simulated networks and spacious work areas. Trainers were always at hand if help was needed and more than willing to provided a bit extra out of the stated learning hours (9-5).← | →

I would highly recommend this course,The course is a must even if your just taking the odd friends wedding or for those considering stepping into the wedding business . All course material is provided you just need to bring camera lens and flash gun.
Not only do you learn about business and marketing but you also get to do a mock wedding with a real bride and groom in full wedding attire
Jeff will then run through the poses that sell and also on how to place your couple, pre wedding shots of both bride and groom as well as detailed shots.
I feel the course has certainly improved my photography and how I approach my wedding couples
The course is run from Jeffs home which is extremely comfortable and you are made very welcome, tea, coffee snacks and lunch are all provided.
Jeff has time to spend with each person and gives hands on help and advice and answer any questions you have
Jeff will go through low lighting in church and explain camera settings,
no question is to big or small
It was great to see how passionate Jeff is about wedding photography
your be made to feel welcome and Jeff is a nice easy going person to get along with← | → -
Although I have a few weddings under my belt as a photographer I found Jeffs course very informative. You get hands on help, with a real wedding couple, in a great setting, Jeff not only runs through different poses with you but also the business side of wedding photography, from equipment , to marketing and insurance
I have been on many a photo course but actually gained a lot of knowledge from this course and also came away with beautiful images taken by myself with Jeffs guidance
what i have learnt will be useful time and time again
I feel the personal attention and help you get is great value for money
and have and will highly recommend this course to anyone who is thinking of taking wedding pictures
The course boosted my confidence and has meant i can now produce much better images
Oh and Jeff is a really nice friendly person to get along with, I myself have a slight learning problems but was in no way made to feel inferior ,

Acting on a recommendation I approached and was met in person and a full assessment/analysis undertaken. SDL work efficiently & flexibly with you to achieve your goal. Incredibly impressed with their knowledge, application of thought & methodologies - they are streets ahead. Needed the qual to continue to practice and they were expert in planning how i could achieve & subsequently supported whenever needed. I have become a talking point with other colleagues as I have achieved with relative simplicity and also know why I have achieved and can offer then advice regarding assessment and the QCF!!!!! Realistic in attitude and planning - realise that individuals have work and life to contend with. Very responsive and understanding yet get results and consistently receive excellent feedback about them. Support offered to staff was bespoke and well received and unlike what we had previously experienced in the past from other companies. All fears were unfounded and realised quickly.
Staff have incredible knowledge and are personable and friendly and also install confidence and are pleasing in that they can offer literacy and numeracy included as well as confidence building also and this has been very useful! Secure and confident in their abililty at all times.
Actually do what they say they can do! They provide professional and qualified staff that have real work and life experience and are approachable and amenable an can deal with all ages and abilities. Staff known by name and were constant - communication was faultless at all times, Creative and fresh always. Frank and in-depth and create excellent solutions to training needs. Tailor each visit as required and work outside of traditional business hours to deliver their services and will do evenings and weekends if needed. I would definitely recomend this course. The level expected was very high, the course materials were excellent and this made everything useful for my future career. The flexibility of hours for the training was fantastic. Everything was fitted around my schedule. There were plenty opportunities to practice on the other trainees which led to being more confident. The tool kit which is supplied is excellent and everything was explained about the tools to make things easier.
The course provider was excellent. The trainers were excellent. The venue was excellent. The course provider was very understanding in understanding my requirements and made me a course tailored just for me. The trainers are excellent and friendly and always encouraging.The venue is in the centre of Manchester and is very user friendly. It is close to all bus, tram, train stations and there are plenty of carparks nearby.← | → -

It is very practical learning experience, lots of hands-on on the job training in the salon and the trainer was very enthusiastic to get the student learn fast and efficiently
I like the one on one approach, and the enabling learning enviroment where i am not afraid of making mistakes
I can ask the trainer anytime without being off putting about it, she is very approachable and she is quite flexible with my time so i can tell her my schedules and we work out the hours of my learning along with my other part-time job
Friendly, professional and great value for money, very convenient in term of getting to town centre as the training venue is right in the heart of Manchester city centre They really know what they are doing, they bring trainers of different expertise such as nail art trainer, gel trainer, acrylic trainer in when necessary to help make the course very interesting.
