Students work to industry standards applying their skills within real working environments, such as the College's own food outlets. There are also many opportunities to take part in Industry based trips. A commercial placement provides additional experience, skills and knowledge.

NVQ LEVEL 3 PROFESSIONAL COOKERY
Specifically designed for students who are aiming to work in Hotels restaurants, contract catering, cruise ships and future Head Chefs.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

NVQ Level 2 Professional Cookery, VRQ Level 2 Diploma in Professional Cookery. Good communication, numeracy and literacy skills. A commitment to study and good attendance, Informal interview.

WHERE COULD IT LEAD?
Employment in the Industry, Other specialist courses in Catering, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent.
