Effectively Managing your Manager: This module introduces the topic with an overview of what is meant by Managing your Manager (It is not bossing your boss). Exploring how developing mutual understanding can help to ensure a good quality working relationship in which everyone's needs are being met.
Dealing with Differences: Learning how to respond positively to conflicts and differences to enhance the quality of the relationship.
Supporting your Manager: This section looks at how, by, analysing strengths and weaknesses, and knowledge and skills can help you towards a more productive working relationship.
My Manager the Work and Me: The most effective staff/manager teams are those in which both recognise the advantages of the association with the other and work together in a manner which is fulfilling. ~This module examines how a sharing of responsibility and a demonstration of commitment to both the work and the people is needed to achieve this.
Using Supervision Sessions: Supervision sessions are often the only formally arranged meetings when you have the undivided attention of your manager to focus on your work/personal development. This module examines how to get the most out of these sessions.
Accessing Support: One of your responsibilities as an employee is to learn to use your manager appropriately to get the support you need in order to do a good job. This module examines how to do this effectively.
