3. Entry requirements You must be working in a catering role and be interested in developing your skills. Alternatively we have a number of vacancies available every week and are able to help you find an employer.Advanced apprentices must have GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 4 (grade C) or above, or equivalent. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method You will be observed and assessed in the workplace. Regular review meetings will take place with you, your assessor and employer to support the achievement of the qualification. Evidence in the form of photographs, videos, witness statements, assignments etc. are uploaded on to an electronic e-portfolio which can be accessed by the Assessor to monitor progress. Assessment for functional skills will take the form of written and on-line tests.
