Regional Italian Cookery 'Sagra Marchigiana' - treasures from Le Marche
Sagra is the name given to an Italian community’s festival dedicated to a local culinary speciality or agricultural product. This winter we have created a series of several Sagra events to celebrate Italian cusine at its best. Each class will be themed around a specific region of Italy and given by a chef hailing from that region, offering guests the opportunity to discover tried and tested recipes often passed down through generations. The Sagra cookery events will take the form of a cookery demonstration using regional ingredients, a tasting of wines from Le Marche, followed by a celebratory and informal lunch.
Our Sagra Marchigiana, are hosted by renowned and greatly respected Italian chef.
Not a lot is commonly known about food from this region and this is a great opportunity to learn more about this area of Italy from one of the great masters. This promises to be a very special morning.
