To do that, they use a series of internal bookmarks that constantly change to decide which pages are active, which are not and thus be able to position those that update their content and adapt to the new conditions.

Learn the different types of SEO and its main characteristics.

  • Black hat SEO. It emphasizes all the practices carried out for the optimization of search engines that do not meet the conditions established by Google and that will consequently be sanctioned. This practice is catalogued as spam and is intended to increase the presence in the network artificially.
  • Grey Hat SEO. It refers to a part of SEO that focuses on the technical optimization options of a website. For example the source code, operating methods and server configurations. It is an important condition for search engine optimization because if you want to optimize websites correctly, you must also know the basic structure of the programming language, in this case, HTML, CSS and PHP language among others. One of its benefits is that the correct use of technical SEO implies a reduction in the loading times of the web.

Blackhat SEO can be carried out through the following systems:

  1. Keyword Stuffing. This method is about using keywords exaggeratedly in order to position the web, repeating them constantly in the texts that are posted on the web and regardless its context is monotonous or incomprehensible.
  2. Hiding Content. This method was quite successful at the beginning of this century since it was about hiding links or text to the user, transforming the color so that they were confused with the bottom of the page and thus being able to repeat the important word as many times as necessary.
  3. Cloaking. This method is nothing more than directing to the different search engines to another page than the one shown to the users. It seeks to show a series of information to users. This practice implies a risky limit because it violates Google’s quality guidelines.
  4. SPAM links. This method refers to the development of links to the page you want to position, using the keyword within the link text whenever it is possible.
  5. Buy links. It is the most used black hat method today. It is about buying inbound links from authorized sites that can be sent to the domain. Inbound links must be purchased from authorized sites and thus can be transferred to the correct domain.

The practice of negative SEO is sanctioned with a deterioration in search engine rankings or, directly, the removal of the web from all Google search results.

  • White Hat SEO. This type of SEO includes several definitions. The most important one is that it is one of the many types of SEO that is explained in a set of operations that can be given to a certain quality content which has been written exclusively to be attended by readers.
