I needed some technical training and in due course went on a two-day training course at BaseSound. The layout of the course was logical, comprehensive, easily paced and enjoyable and the knowledge I gained from those two days have subsequently proved to be invaluable for me.

I had the time of my life there and I'd learned from your course and the help of in-house engineers at each venue, I was able to get a good sound each night and even got it pretty consistent, which after all is the reason a band has a touring engineer.

The best investment I made was a one-to-one training session with Howard at Basesound. Self-teaching is fine, but it's no substitute for learning from a seasoned pro with decades of experience. Howard patiently took me through the fundamentals and taught me many important techniques, routines, and disciplines which I use every time.

All in all, it has been one of the most worthwhile things I have done in a long time and I feel sure that I will reap the benefits throughout my sound engineering journey, be that at my current amateur level or if I take it further into a career. I am truly blessed to have this productive training which helped me a lot. I am more confident about my work and really enjoy every bit of it.
