Course programme
- You will be able to define the main characteristics of a contract of employment and its terms.
- You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of race discrimination, sex discrimination and disability discrimination in the workplace.
- You will be able to define best practice in how to handle discipline, grievance and associated appeals.
- You will be able to describe keys areas of pregnancy and maternity protection, paid annual leave and statutory sick pay.
- By the end of the workshop, you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of termination of contracts, fair and unfair dismissal.
- You will begin to develop an action plan to incorporate what they have learnt during the workshop into the workplace.
