Many thanks to my Assessor who was brilliant and really motivated me. Would recommend SDL & him to anyone who wants to have fun while learning and producing the evidence that enabled me to get my NVQ. My manager is also very pleased and is very grateful for SDL's work. I am progressing to Marketing level 2 to increase my skills or level 3 in Business Administration and am looking forward to it. Have a go as its worth it!

Put five staff members through on this course and found it excellent grounding and also consolidated the basic training we had provided as a company & SDL developed them further. Working with SDL we have been able to develop a new staff structure and also training at the levels required - very grateful as this has developed the business as well as the initial training we requested - excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this course so you get up to date or learn the real profession as a HE close protection operator. An excellent service and training establishment with outstanding courses from the NSC with the full value for money factor. It's the real thing not just talk, if you don't make NSC's grade which is second to none, you fail... there's no if's or buts', it's as simple as that! It's not only just what you've been trained it's how and by whom you've been trained which counts for you and recognized, respected prospective future employers who know that what I've learnt I will use.

I went with SDL on a trusted recommendation and it was certainly a good one! I met & discussed at length what I wanted to get out of it and then a plan was drawn up to achieve and regular contacts/visists ensued. Felt completely supported throughout and confident in my choice.
Dealt with real people who have real experience and a wide knowledge & are tireless in their desire to help you. Excellent value across the board (cost being lower than expected & based on current climate!) & being able to work as well as produce unit work was the key 'seller' for me and recommend this to others who have similar lives & schedules, who want to validate their experience and obtain a suitable high level qualification.

I had a lovely sewing machine sat at home gathering dust for two years until I, along with my sewing machine went to see Claire-Louise and Alex. They answered all my questions and were happy to show me how to use and care for my machine. I made a beautiful cushion to be proud of made of quality fabric and quality stitching. Help was available all the way along and we were given lots of very useful information. I would reccomend this course to anyone and everyone. Also, I can now sit at home and confidently thread my sewing machine, wind my bobbin and lots more! It's set in a lovely relaxed and friendly environment with lots of tea/coffee and fabulous cupcakes thrown in. They are the nicest and most helpful and friendly teachers that you could ever ask for. My cushion now has pride of place on my couch and I can't wait to make some more with the template handed out at the end of the class, just perfect all round.

Highly recommended for beginners but also to develop and build on current sewing skills.

I spent a lovely Sunday at this begginners sewing class and came home inspired to get sewing again. I learnt all the basics to get me started and as there was only six of us in the class- I got lots of personal support from mentors Claire-Louise and Alex. I have already requested a sewing machine for christmas! I fully reccommend this course to all begginners.
