The Celta Certificate In Language Teaching To Adults course at Action English is one of the most empowering courses which I have done. Regardless of your prior teaching experience, the trainers managed to get everyone in the course to the same level within four weeks. The criticism of the the teaching practice was always spot on and helped me develop further as a teacher. I felt that the the atmosphere of the course was very welcoming and provided a safe learning environment. It is true that the course was very demanding (a fact to which I had been alerted in the interview), both trainers I had did everything in their power to help us not just get through it but rather to enjoy the experience.

You will be warned that the course is intensive and demanding - and you had better believe it! It is however extremely informative and practical. The teaching practice is invaluable and the feedback from the tutors is detailed and constructive.
The school is run very professionally, but with a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. You will make good friends on this course, both among your fellow trainees and amongst the students whom you teach.
Two months on from the course I am gaining experience in the ESOL sector here in the UK, but my friends who want to travel are already on their way abroad.
