Course description An industry recognised qualification for those who are serious about the food industry, ; This Level 2 vocational course forms the second part of the Craft Catering qualification. You will learn a wide range of professional cookery and food and beverage skills, along with knife skills, patisserie and general skills. , , Participation in work placements as part of the ‘Catering for your Future' program, gives you a hands on approach and real life experiences of future career paths. Trips to London and local restaurants are also a part of this course. Guest chefs are invited in to share their knowledge with students. We have in-house student competitions to encourage creativity. College open evenings and prestigious gourmet events are an opportunity to showcase your skills. , , This is a recognised qualification for all those wishing to take up a career in the Hospitality and Catering Industry as either a chef or a career in food and beverage service, this course forms the second year of a full time program of study.
