Course description You will study towards a number of qualifications designed for you to achieve the skills for your chosen career: Apprenticeship: NVQ Level 2 Front of House Food and Beverage Service; Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles; Functional Skills Numeracy Level 1 and Literacy Level 1. Other: Employer Rights and Responsibilities You may be exempt from Functional Skills if you have the appropriate GCSEs.

3. Entry requirements You will need to have 3 GCSE grades A - E (preferably English and Maths). You must be in employment in the field you wish to study for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Highbury's UK Business Development will carry out a Health & Safety check before new employers can be accepted onto the scheme. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method The content of the course for Front of House Food and Beverage service may include: Prepare and clear areas of table service. Serve food at a table. Maintain and deal with customer payments. Contribute towards effective teamwork A Training Advisor will work with you and your employer to review your progress throughout the Apprenticeship. Progress reports will be given to your employer by your tutors every twelve weeks.
