The right person on the front desk will effortlessly deliver excellent, caring and proficient patient administration services. However, it’s important that levels of service and care are well defined, to the extent that they can be consistently provided irrespective of which team member takes the reception role. For that reason reception and administration services need to be defined using the quality principles of standardisation and communication to ensure consistency.
Teaching
This is a taught course, in which each student is guided by a personal tutor; in this way students benefit from the ability to choose when and where they study with the support of a mentor/tutor. Each programme teaches a range of recognised legal and ethical codes which dental professionals must observe and enables students to embed GDC and Quality of Care regulations into every day practice activities.
On line aspects
Learning and reference materials are provided on line and students work is uploaded directly onto our online Student Pathway from where the tutor accesses your work to provide feedback and guidance.
Our learning materials are set entirely within the dental practice workplace as students contextualise the learning for their own practice
Courses consist of subject units each of which has a Student Notebook. Students are also supported with Learning Activities to develop their knowledge and understanding of the subject matter before creating assignments for assessment.
Please find an enquiry pack attached. Studying for a professional qualification whilst working is demanding, we recognise this and have designed a range of flexible programmes offering a flexible approach to enable students to develop a range of academic, professional and personal management skills.
