This course can lead to employment in professional catering e.g. Hotels, restaurants and pubs. This course consists of a hands-on introduction to methods of cooking and basic food hygiene within a real working kitchen. The training kitchen prepares the food for the College's refectories. You will be assessed by observation of competence, coursework and a portfolio.
