The trainer managed to get just the right blend of technical detail and overview, and adapted the course direction to suit the course attendees, and often showed his deep knowledge and understanding of the area.

Great examples, resources and tips on the slide and in discussions as well. In addition to updating the GATC for subdomains, I learned some new things about 404s, a great resources Planet Ocean, as well as the best approach when adding/replacing pages. I was excited to also learn about alternative ways of event tracking. I also got a good introduction to custom variables. Sometimes its hard for me to think of a practical usage example for a non-ecommerce site, but all the stuff I learned from Matt makes this easier.

  • I truly enjoyed the course on Google Tag Manager 101 - Fundamentals, key concepts, basic tagging and advanced event listener tagging. I can now finally go back to the organisation to set up some goals and to really get stuck in to using funnels. If we I hadn't have attended we would still be using campaigns internally within the website, fingers crossed these should all be cleared and the data on GA should be clean. Thanks for the advice.

  • I thought it was an excellent reminder of the various functions of adwords and also useful for learning new approaches. I've never had display explained in a way that made as much sense. Sharron was very helpful.
