I enjoyed minute of this course and was sad when it came to an end. I will now go on to do more course's in the future and eventually do there Diploma course. I would recommend this course to anyone who enjoys baking.

I thought the course was brilliant for people like me who have an interest but very little skill and experience. I learnt some excellent tricks of the trade that have enabled me to start making and icing cakes for friends and family. The course is fun and friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Fantastic day course on all things chocolate cake related. Friends were in awe (as I was) at what I had managed to make by the end of the day.
I will definately use what I have learnt as I have a friends birthday soon and she loves chocolate cake. There were other 'insider' tips that Annabelle shares which will be invaluable in the future.
The course is excellent value for money and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Before that course I was only able to toast bread... Now I have prepared several three course meals and have impressed my family! Fabulous - pleasant and valuable and certainty building... a splendid learning environment, with an extraordinary approach. You really learn things you will utilize. It is so great my little girl got lessons as her birthday gift - and we ate her quiche the previous evening for dinner. Great and she is 10. I have done the night classes and have really made sushi a few times since and furthermore pasta... something I did not believe that I could ever do.. Much thanks to you.

As an ‘alright’ chef I wanted to try a cooking class to see if I would be able to learn some new tricks and skills. Myself and two friends attended the dinner party cooking class and as well learning how to make a beautiful meal we also had an absolute blast! Diana has the BEST personality and kept as laughing the whole time. She is a fabulous chef and managed to teach my friend who had never cooked much more than a frozen pizza how to make Scallops with a vegetable ragout, Duck breast with cherry jus and passionfruit soufflé. We had a brilliant time and we will definitely be visiting again to try one of the other wonderful classes they have on offer! We truly felt like as well as learning to cook we had made some friends.

I learnt so much and was amazed at how quickly I progressed to making professional cakes. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to learn the art of cake decorating. I have signed up for the next 2 diplomas for flowers and royal icing I enjoyed it so much!

My boy attended the Off to Uni course last week. What a success! I have never seen Ben so excited and enthused about 5 days! He even enjoyed the cake baking on Day 1 which he had reservations about. He learnt so much and simply had so much fun clearly all thanks to Richard and Diana who he could not stop talking about and obviously you who manages the whole thing. It was such a success he only wishes he had been doing 2 weeks. That says it all. A huge thank you to you all from a thrilled son and appreciative mother.

Hubby and I and five different companions did the Fish Class a week ago. It was grisly splendid. Diane is a decent educator and sooo engaging. Richard and whatever remains of her group were awesome. They demonstrated to make some beautiful dishes which we inspected and thumped back with scrumptious wine. Also, they demonstrated to us generally accepted methods to filet distinctive sorts of fish, with each of us doing our own fileting. I surely suggest this class, furthermore, The Ave group. Can not choose which class to do next.

I booked the Sunday Brunch Club as a birthday gift – both really enjoyed and learnt more than thought possible in only a few hours. Nice informal setting and Richard was really clear and engaging teacher/chef! Bottomless bloody marys certainly helped with the cooking too! The Avenue made sure I spent a far more entertaining, educational and tasty two-week course than I thought. the Horsford family were great to me and Richard, the teacher, was brilliant. He really possesses a talent for trying out crazy ideas and always successfully pulling them off.
Once I finished this course, I flew to La Plagne in France and started working as chalet host for Skiworld. When I first started here, I realised how important were those skills I gained from the course, specially my cakes!

I highly recommend this two week Chalet Host Course. Although my culinary skills were tested, I enjoyed it and I felt very comfortable in that environment. We were able to go over a huge number of new recipes and techniques because the day was really well organised. The demonstrations and the hands-on cooking periods were well balanced.

The Avenue made sure I spent a far more entertaining, educational and tasty two-week course than I thought. the Horsford family were great to me and Richard, the teacher, was brilliant. He really possesses a talent for trying out crazy ideas and always successfully pulling them off.

A wonderful location for children 9+ to learn cooking in a very welcoming, friendly environment. The After School Class is an excellent course. Having looked at a number of kids cookery schools, this one seems to offer the best option in terms of flexibility, varied classes and real skills that allow children to progress over time. My kids were absolutely amazed by these classes, the tutor was great! They want to take more lessons now. Would recommend it.

A wonderful location for children 9+ to learn cooking in a very welcoming, friendly environment. The After School Class is an excellent course. Having looked at a number of kids cookery schools, this one seems to offer the best option in terms of flexibility, varied classes and real skills that allow children to progress over time. She had a ball and learnt so much from knife skills to making her own ravioli and cooking her own steak with red wine jus.
We were busy last weekend following on from the many things you taught her and me along the way!
I thought I knew a good deal about cooking but learnt several new skills / tricks that I have already put to good use.

My friend and I booked the Simple Supper Classes with The Avenue London Cookery School. The instructors are so lovely!. It is really nice you while doing the recipes they tell you kitchen tips and tricks that you can carry over into your everyday cooking. There was also plenty of wine to be enjoyed from start to finish. This course was a great fun, lots of little tips as well as specific recipe techniques. We'll be back for more soon.

It is really nice you while doing the recipes they tell you kitchen tips and tricks that you can carry over into your everyday cooking. There was also plenty of wine to be enjoyed from start to finish. This course was a great fun, lots of little tips as well as specific recipe techniques. We'll be back for more soon.

Intensive was no understatement but the whole course was inspirational, satisfying, fun and hugely rewarding. Annabelle is the most amazingly patient teacher and so good at tapping into each individual student's personalities and strengths! I will definitely use what i have learnt and hope i can make Confection Perfection proud!

My friend and I attended the Saturday Really Useful and Chalet Course and learned a lot! I had made some of the dishes few times before but the class really improved my cookery skills and was a lot of fun! I would highly recommend The Avenue London Cookery School. The facilities are great and instructor very knowledgable and with a good sense of humour! At the end, we all had a sit down dinner to enjoy the fruits of our labour, which was a nice touch. 10 out of 10!

We spent a fantastic afternoon at the Avenue Cookery School for a friend's hen party. We were welcomed with wine and freshly baked bread, walked through some of the techniques we'd need for the day, and guided through the preparation of three delicious courses, which we all enjoyed eating during our formal sit down meal at the end of the day. The Avenue team were so helpful and fun and it was just what the hen needed. A big thank you to Sophie who was really responsive to the endless questions and menu planning we had beforehand. Everything ran so smoothly, we had a brilliant time.

I attended the Basic To Brilliant Cooking Course at The Avenue London Cookery School. This family owned business with Richard and Diana as chefs and Sophie behind the desk, was one of the best courses i have been on. The atmosphere was delightful, light and easy, and yet the cooking we achieved throughout the day was an enormous amount. With the help of very knowledgeable chefs, any queries would be answered. I would highly recommend this Cookery School to anyone who wants hands on lessons and a chilled atmosphere.

My 22 year-old son attended this course during his gap year. It really helped him to have a good start with cooking and now he is trying to further develop his interests. Two days ago he prepared an 8 course tasting menu for 14 people!
